Integrity testing or otherwise known tank tightness testing is the most accurate method to ensure the ability of a bulk storage unit to be integral or complete. By pressure differentiation testing for a non-integral system DTTA can ensure that the system is complete by monitoring for allowed pressure drops over time.
Acoustic signature data collection during the pressure differentiation test provides data which can link any pressure drops to specific characteristics, allowing DTTA the ability to determine the likely causes of the pressure deviation.
DTTA’s unique testing systems have been tailored from USPS systems to suit the Australian market, with the ability to assess the integrity of underground and surface bulk storage tanks including surge units and day tanks as well as piping networks for ventilation, fuel feed and return systems and pump circuits.
Tank integrity testing allows DTTA technicians to provide accurate assessment and reporting on the integrity of the bulk storage unit and the surrounding components.
